Hello, wherever you are!
It's November

It contains a reminder about my new book, news of the coming summer

break.

colleagues. Thank you Robin, you're a star." Lulama Kwinana, M-Net In-house Productions

TAKE A BREAK!
Perhaps the most important strategy, tactic and skill for all round
success in business and life is to rest. Without it, nothing else works
or makes sense. It is essential to rest often: daily, monthly and
annually.
You can do it spontaneously, whenever you feel tired and your body and
mind tell you to. It is important to stay in touch with yourself, your
feelings, moods and state of being, and it is important to act in line
with what your awareness tells you. Rest when you feel the need.
You can also do it in a more planned way. You can make sure that every
day, you take time for it. Punctuate your performance with it. You can
go as far as feeling that a state of rest is your reference point so
that
your action stems from it.
You can make sure that in every week, you take a day for rest.
And
every month you take two or three days off and do nothing work and
business related. Easier said than done, whatever job or business you
are in, but the way to go, not so?
Then, annually you need a big holiday! Not only because you have more
than earned it but because it's prudent.
Reflecting on what I have just written, I see that I have a lot of
resting to do to be true to my words. So, if you'll excuse me...
;-)
Have a great December.
Robin
