Real
success is not achieving what you think you want,
but living your purpose. It is not a series of accomplishments,
but a journey of discovery. And, therefore, it is not something you
seek and attain, but something to which you surrender.
If you have
goals, you will limit yourself to them.
If you try to make circumstance fit your narrow world view,
you are destined for pain, suffering, and disappointment. If, however,
you commit to learning and growing by being of service to others
for a living, you open yourself to realising the potential that
hovers just beyond your current confines.
To taste real
success, try the following four things
in your business and life:
Don’t fight
the way things are, accept them.
This will free you up to see more clearly, recognise opportunity,
and use your energy more wisely. It will also instantly make you feel
better.
You can change your current circumstance right away by simply
changing you approach to it.
From
the position of acceptance, give in to what
wants to happen. When you feel yourself straining or struggling,
find the tension within you, feel it for a moment, then release it.
And as your resistance subsides, release it some more.
Let its creative potential come through. Keep letting go
of what is holding you back and keep discovering
your deeper capability.
Then use your
transformative power to do your
unique work. Do what you are good at, what you enjoy and what
helps people get what they really want in life. And do so not with the
expectation of reward but for the sheer joy of being yourself.
Now, once you
have established a new base
from which to live life to the full, make personal growth your priority.
Put your development at the top of your to-do list
and keep it there.
Find
and enjoy the limitless value in
growing spiritually through your business. Turn the outdated
notion of enterprise on its head. And realise new realms
of success by being yourself for a living.
